Job Description:

  • To provide effective Security Services to the designated post in a professional, competent and courteous manner. To maintain company policies and procedures, and an above average knowledge of the specifics of Residential and Commercial Security. 



  • Enforcement of all Post Orders and Regulations of site
  • Maintain order through the use of tactical communication
  • Emergency communications via Radio, computer and phone use
  • Operate mission essential security equipment
  • Security Control Room Operations
  • Access control operations
  • Respondto emergencies such as fire alarms and other alarms of various natures, detection and prevention of vandalism, loitering and other illicit activities
  • Effectively write reports documenting shift occurrences


  • Strong past experience in physical security or law enforcement background an asset
  • Use of Force
  • Valid Drivers Licence (Full G)
  • Minimum education Grade 12
  • Must be licenced by the Province as a registered Security Guard and must maintain the licence for the duration of employment
  • Current first aid and CPR
  • Must be physically capable of walking at a brisk pace, running, and climbing stairs (in order to maintain surveillance); be in good overall general health.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing in English or both official languages of Canada.
  • Must be able to produce documents in Microsoft Word, send and receive e-mails at time of posting.
  • Must successfully complete all required courses and training
  • Have excellent communication skills (written & conversational)
  • Be able to work as a team player
  • Have solid report writing skills
  • Must be willing and able to work afternoons/nights/weekends/weekdays - varying shifts

Part Time positions available (30 hours/week) - evenings & weekends.
