Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatch & Quality Control Manager is responsible for the management of ensuring the delivery of quality standards of a contracted Security Guard and Security Dispatch, SOCC and Mobile Patrol operations at Calgary International Airport.  In addition, this position ensures overall quality of standards for all A.S.P. YYC operations, participates in the development and delivery of Training Programs and is the H&S management representative at Calgary Airport. 


  • Responsible/accountable for the oversight, leadership, direction and supervision of all aspects of the Dispatch, Security Operations Control Centre (SOCC) and Mobile Patrol Units at Calgary International Airport
  • Responsible for Quality Control/Assurance program to ensure services meet/exceed contractual and legislative requirements as well company and client standards and expectations.
  • Participates developing and delivering Training Programs/Curriculums (classroom, CBT, OJT)
  • Is the YYC Health & Safety Management representative at Calgary airport and as such ensures adherence to H&S legislation, internal policies/procedures as well as Airport Safety Program.


Education and Experience

  • Post-Secondary education with a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in related field and/or equivalent work related/industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in a security service and/or airport/airline operations environment.
  • Proven experience in a quality control/assurance role with a strong focus on metrics, including a solid knowledge of KPI's and SLA's

  • A Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant, legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Have a clear Criminal Record;
  • Alberta Provincial Drivers licence with no restrictions and a clean driver abstract;
  • Able to obtain a valid TC Security Clearance and YYC Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Able to type at least 45wpm (Typing Test will be a component of final interview

Recruitment Assets:

  • Airport Security and or Operations/Dispatch Centre experience is highly desirable;
  • Possession of a valid security clearance and a YYC RAIC;
  • Licenced by the Province of Alberta as a registered Security Guard;
